Links

Please note that most of the following links are related to particular locations of interest, museums, cold war sites etc, and that many are run by volunteers. This can mean that  they are not open all the time, and some are only open to the public on particular days throughout the year. In all cases where sites are unmanned be aware that they are private property, and that they may be secured against unlawful entry, and that in the case of smaller sites all artifacts are removed when unmanned. Please also be aware that all former Royal Observer Corps posts are private property, and entering them without the owner's permission may open you to legal proceedings, most are on private land. The removal of artifacts is a specific criminal offence, and cases have been successfully prosecuted. In some cases there is not a specific physical location, simply a web site.

Listings are provided gratis. While every attempt is made to keep links up to date, it is not always possible. If you are aware of any errors or omissions please contact the webmaster.

Some links given previously have had to be removed as  the sites themselves could not be verified as safe. In fact two were identified as high risk, being infected with malware. Even certain former government sites are not immune. Some of the sites may flag as insecure, but I do check them fairly regularly.
