The following links relate to currently active Civil Defence/Civil Protection organisations throughout the World. In some cases, due to political instabilities or government organisation/re-organisation, it is difficult to be definitive and links may change or disappear entirely. As an example of the latter whilst researching the content for this page a whole government website became a telephone selling site. Some agencies with responsibility for civil protection/defence are hidden away within large government sites and it isn't easy to fathom where to look unless one is already fluent in the local language. Another peculiarity is that some government agencies seem to think that their only web presence should be Facebook, and in one case all there is is a telephone number!Please be aware that sites vary with the frequency of their updates, in some cases it is daily, in others it isn't done for years and hence information may be out of date.
